About Lori McManus
Lori McManus has been providing functional design solutions for her clients over the past 10 years. Her knowledge and experience enables her to fulfill the desires of her clients into rooms of their dreams. Lori keeps current with trends in the industry and has connections with a variety of suppliers which provides her with plenty of resources for the various styles and rooms she decorates.
Lori is committed to see each project from start to finish, in a timely manner, making sure the requirements of her clients are met. She is flexible and creative, also mindful of budgets. Whether creating something new, updating the old, projects small or large, Lori listens to her client's needs to provide welcoming, stylish spaces. Her keen eye for color, space and design allows her to translate the client's desires into reality.
Lori has been around art and creativity all her life. After receiving an undergraduate degree in sociology and art, she furthered her education by pursuing a degree in special education. Returning to her passion in decorating, she studied interiors. Lori's education and past experiences leads her to have patience, be good listener, and easy to work with.
The company name, Ladybug Interiors, is a reflection of Lori's fondness of ladybugs. She finds them to be delicate, whimsical, lucky, artistic, harmless, colorful creatures whose patterns vary greatly. That connection, along with the two ladybugs rings she wears, which represent her two children, drew her to the business name.
The client will appreciate Lori's caring and friendly attitude as she quickly and instinctively procures ideas and offers suggestions. She may recommend charming wallpaper or bright touches of paint; maybe, a natural, organic form to be placed in a room for interest, as well. She might envision mixing an interesting antique piece into a more contemporary setting, fusing the old with new. And, her use of patterned fabrics create a pleasing surround. Accomplished, inviting and sensible, with a bit of play, color, and pattern--- surely, is a space where a family can feel at home and truly enjoy. Lori feels blessed to be given a gift that she loves sharing with the many families whom she has created happy comfortable homes.
